do I pay vat on business purchases from the usa?
If I purchase services from the USA, that would normally be VATable in the UK, do I pay vat on them?
For example. If I spend £100 on Web Hosting supplied by a US based company, their invoice does not show a vat charge, just £100 (in dollars obviously) then Do I pay them £100 and send £17.50 to the tax man?
Are they not vat deductible as they would be if I bought them in the UK if they are for the business?????
No. VAT is a Eurozone tax only.
