Web Hosting protected site?
with yahoo Small Business Web Hosting, i protect a subdirectory that has 20 pictures. there is an html file that refers to these pics in the main directory but when accessing it it asks the username password not just once, 20 times. How to ask only once?
yea 20 times for each picture that the html refers to. it makes sense since those pics are in protected folder…i just dont know how to make it just one…i tried putting the hml file in there but it doesnt work either….
20 times? That’s just silly. This is a question you really need to ask Yahoo. Many website building tools have their own weird aspects, but this seems excessive. You may also want to consider that you will be able to do a lot more, and have more control over your website if you learn some basic website building techniques.
