How Can I soundproof a Garage/House/Outdoor area. Any Ideas that are Free/Cheap/Home Made?

I’m Hosting a party at my house, The dance floor will be in the garage (its big) and then there will be people in the adjacent backyard. Any ideas on how to soundproof windows or areas? I heard using egg cartons? or maybe blankets. I don’t have a large budget for this sole task. The party will not be in my house itself lol. Thanks for your help

How to use existing broadband connection in Ubuntu 8.10 with VMWare?

Hello everyone.I am using Ubuntu 8.10 on VMWare Workstation 6.5.1 I have a broadband cable connection which i use on windows xp host.Now i want this same connection to be made available in ubuntu inside vmware so that i can use the internet on ubuntu as well.I contacted ubuntu forums and have done almost all the necessary steps required for setting up the connection.Ubuntu’ s desktop icon also shows that the connection is established but when i try to ping that connection, it does not work..I have some options like bridged, nat , etc. inside vmware but don’t know when to use it.Since i am a novice i think i must have messed up with the Virtual Network Editor in VmWare that is causing the problem.So please anyone help me with steps so that i can use my internet on ubuntu as well.Please view attached my IP information screenshot(the name of my internet connection on XP is Ehthernet Local area Connection 3) on this link:

everytime I try to log into my schools email it says this…………………………………

You don’t need to use Outlook to access your school e-mail, most outlook servers are configured so they can be accessed via web browser. This is likely the case for your school, just find the URL (use google).

Access isn’t needed on home computers and you would need information that isn’t available to you to log into your school e-mail from home.

How to Download, Backup or Rip (MY) Wix.com Premium Website?

I made a website using wix.com and later upgraded it to premium. The fees are OK but not the greatest. So i was wondering if i could Download, Backup or Rip MY Wix.com Premium Website so that i can cancell using their service and just use a Hosting service for my website.

Doing this manually would be an enormous technical challenge, because wix tries their hardest to keep the source for all of their scripts and plugins hidden. However, there are tools to “rip” a website:
