I’m fairly new with choosing web hosts on the web and as a web designer, I’m having various clients in different hosting services, some better or worse than others but they become difficult for me to handle.

I deal with many websites and domain names and I understand what you’re experiencing.

I found it best to encourage your clients to migrate to those Hosting Companies you feel comfortable working at. There’s advantages to this, mostly profit.

Many of my clients might have existing hosting and registrars, but I push my sales pitch to get them to transfer to my registrar and Hosting Plans, where I’m a Reseller of other great services. I can honestly say over 90% of my clients make the transfer thus a few extra dollars in my pocket.

I’m not entirely sure what you want to manage. If you mean the updating and managing of the website itself, you might want to go with Joomla or Drupal as you can have some excellent looking sites and easily manage content updating.

If you mean managing servers, DNS, Domains and hosting and billing services, you might want to become a Reseller of Go Daddy’s ‘Wild West’ program and then find a good hosting site that offers reselling.
