How do i setup a linux server?
For my networking class i need to setup a linux box to act as a SQL,FTP,and a web server. I just need pointers on where to start… i will be integrating my box with a windows network so i ll need samba. Any tips would be apprecated.
If you want to learn some follow one of the How TO “Perfect Server” Guides at how to forge. They really are not “perfect” but they really are good step by step guides and contain each step that you need to follow. It is better than simply running a quick install and not knowing why things are done.
