What Web Hosting structure is best?
I’m in the process of making a website based on communities. If I were going to make something of a social networking site like facebook or the old Myspace or LinkedIn, what would be The Best Web Hosting structure and provider to go with? I have no experience with web hosts or even web design/development so wasn’t sure what a developer would really look for. Ofcourse, i’ll be hiring someone or a few people to develop this site for me since I have no way of making this myself.
LAMP servers: Linux/unix, Apache, Mysql and Perl/php.
Since it is all open source, it is the cheaper.
Since it runs on Unix, it is one of the fastests.
You only need to know HTML, CSS, javascript, php and mysql.
The other type is window based.
Since it is windows, it is unreliable
Since it is Microsoft, you have to pay licence fees on top of your hosting.
You need to write in HTML, CSS, javascript, ASP, .net, MSSQL, IIS.
