How can I Host My Website through one host and email on another?
I want to Host My Website from a particular Web Host but my email from another service provider. Thing is the Domain name is the same. How can I change the NS settings without changing the MX settings which I want to use for another host? Kinda tricky, but I need a solution… thanks
A nameserver hosts your Zone file which contains the records.
A record is for your website
MX record is for your email.
You can host your Zonefile as many places as you like but people looking up your Domain will also see the file at the primary chosen Nameserver if its availble.
So basically you can’t, you have to have a single Zone file which has an A record for your website and MX records for your mail. Theres no other way.
