What is the best free Hosting service to display a personal family site that also supports ftp transfer?
I know free is not the best option, but i am planning on upgrading eventually, once my family site is big enough.
I use http://www.aqsite.info.
They offer amazing Free Hosting which in my opinion is better than some paid services I have seen in the past. You have free access to all the options you would ever want (MySQL, PHP, Perl, FTP, postgresql, custom error pages, the list goes on and on). You do need a Domain name though so make sure you have one. Send them an email and ask for the free plan, its worth it.
