Best way to remote access Windows Server?
I am Hosting a Windows 2003 Server website from my home. I do not wish to develop on that particular machine. I want to develop separately and then upload to the server. What tools do you use?
Well the most common is “Remote Desktop” (RDP). It’s provided by Microsoft and most easiest to setup. Also port 3389 is a relatively safe port for interactive remote access. Third party remote access tools I like to use are “Log me in”, VNC, and Team Viewer. They are free and just as efficien.
